05-05-09: The “Flight of the Conchords LipDub Video Fansterpiece” site won two Webby awards today- one for best Television site and one for the “People’s Voice” award (Thanks to everyone who voted). FlightLip was an idea of mine that we did here at Deep Focus and we’re all super proud of the awards. It’s neat to win stuff!

Also some footage of some singers on the subway this morning.

SXSW Sounds Like Fun

03-12-09: SXSW, the annual music/film/interactive conference in Austin, Texas is about to get underway, and guess what – a site that yours truly came up with is up for an interactive award! Well whaddya know!

The site is “Flight of the Conchords Lip Dub Fansterpiece”, and the awards are given out this Sunday. “…Really though it’s just such a honor to be nominated.”

In other news – SUCK IT, Hulu – this one is MINE!!!

Update: Apparently, what I thought was an SNL sketch was actually a commercial or “sketchmerical” as it was called in the link above; Pepsi paid for a commercial that looked exactly like an SNL sketch, but was shown during an actual commercial break.
