The end of SteveIsaacs.tv?

Looks like it might be. On Friday yet another Goddamn camera was stolen. I’m over it. I carry my camera all the time, so sometimes I’m not as vigilant as I should be, but this is ridiculous. This makes 3 pricey Canon HD camcorders swiped since December. I don’t know if I can go through all this again. Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something.

But have you considered getting a “cheap” cam, like Flip Mino HD, which should be good enough for SteveIsaacs.tv. It could might even be an advantage for you sometimes, with not to many details… ;-D

Or the Flip Ultra HD, it’s even cheaper, has more storatge, bigger screen, but is a bit bigger.

I’ve enjoyed your videos, but I understand not wanting to continue purchasing video cameras. It’s a shame people keep taking them. Can you put some kind of alarm on the camera, like they have on cars? Touch it and it goes off? I have no idea if they make such a thing, but if not, somebody should. Perhaps a GPS so you can find it too.

Why not just buy the Flip Ultra HD? It’s considerably cheap and is pretty good quality if you ask me. I’ll miss your videos too much!

All i can say is that i really hope it is not the end of SteveIssacs.tv …
i only recently “discovered” you and have been having a blast going through your blogs .. old and new .. hell i am even following you on twitter …
And all this from the beautiful island of Trinidad in the Caribbean …
Maybe the universe IS trying to tell you something but maybe something is getting lost in the translation???

Sorry to hear about this most recent theft, Steve. Ultimately, of course, the decision is up to you on whether or not to continue with SteveIsaacs.tv. But, it would be a shame to let the cads silence your intelligent, creative, helpful, articulate and enjoyable endeavors. I can understand the frustration, though–not to mention the replacement costs involved.

Thanks everybody. I really appreciate ll the feedback. As for the Flip MinoHD option, I tried that after camera #2 was lost/stolen, and the quality as too assy. I even took the video off SteveIsaacs.tv cause it looked so different. You can see it here: http://www.vimeo.com/4262706.

Steve, you know I love you man, but come on: BE MORE CAREFUL WITH YOUR SHIT. Hell, I won’t carry my $250 Canon PowerShot half the time because I’m afraid it’ll get broken/lost/stolen. Are you carrying a camera bag with you? Keeping it on you at all times? This is New York, baby, you gotta keep an eye out.
That being said, just get another cam and be goddamn more careful, and keep on vlogging.

Oh man, I just can’t believe that. I stay out for a week and this is the news? I even made a group on facebook to people who loves your blog like me! Unfair Steve! Your vlog was the happiest moment of my day, don’t take that away =( Put a camera on your home, film from there, and never take it out, done! but please don’t go. I’ll have to start a petition online if your vlog ends.

Hi Steve. Add me to the list of people that really do enjoy your vlog. Your vlog is unique, interesting, honest and creative. I always enjoy(ed) seeing them – I’m from CA and thoroughly enjoy the perspectives of ‘NY city life’. The situation sounds horribly frustrating, but am one who hopes that something works out and the vlogs can continue. Take care.

Not that my opinion matters all that much but I have been visiting your blog/vlog since before TPC days! Would be a total bummer if you did stop but three cameras in under 6 months sucks

It’s cheap-HD- and you can get it in RED COLOR…maybe you wouldn’t lose a RED one ( and probably no one would want to steal it either)

Hi my friend! Please dont give up on sharing your life journies with us.
