05-04-09: After a few weeks of new camcorder searching, I finally get one that seems to be working out, a Canon HF S100. The only issue is that I don’t have one interesting thing to say now that I DO have it. I won’t let that stop me from yabbering away anyway.

Looking forward to more footage of the NYC sights and sounds. Your tweets and vlogs have me wanting to go back for another visit…haven’t been for a few years and it’s such an amazing place! I’ve only seen such a small bit of it…it must be really cool to live there and be able to explore the nooks and crannies off the beaten track. Do you like it better than L.A. or is it just different? Looking very forward to Idol tonight. According to Slash’s tweet a few days ago, he’s quite impressed with Adam’s song and performance, so it should be a good show. (Although Kris is still my #1!) Thanks for the new “yabber”…these are fun to watch.

I have an HF100 in my possession. It belongs to my friend, who loves it. I am using it to film something in HD. So far, I like it. Not bad, easy to use and small.
Now going to go look up the differences between the HF100 and the HF S100.

Marty – You’ll prolly love the HF100. Lots cheaper than the HF S100 and JUST like my dear departed HF10. I think that should do you just fine.

Glad you’re back!! Yeah, we swore we weren’t going to get into DOL, but watched the first episode anyway. Funny thing was we knew one of the guys who got eliminated (Kenn Youngar from Dallas aka Torch) and didn’t even know he was going to be on the show!! Guess I wouldn’t have told anyone either if I was one of the first to go. haha.

Kathryn: No great scratches story, just playing around, and as kitties do, he all of a sudden decided that HE MUST JUMP OFF MY SHOULDER IMMEDIATELY. Equals scratches. I keep forgetting to clip his little nails.
