That is totally a bummer that you can’t get the privacy to write anymore. I know what you mean about the privacy though, it’s difficult to go out on a limb creatively when somebody around you is immediately judging it because it’s human nature.
Chalupa is hilarious. He adds a level of anticipation because you don’t know what he’s going to screw up next.

Chalupa is hilariously annoying.
I laughed so hard regarding Dave calling while you’re in the bathtub filming.
Dude, I’ve told you many times – you know how I feel. You’ve got an amazing gift in musical talent and ability and you’d better find a way to continue using it. You are blessed.

I laughed so hard watching this. Steve Isaacs: secure in his masculinity. Thanks for having the nerve to post this, even with the unwanted cinematography/sound assistance from Chalupa.

steve,
you and chalupa are the next great comedy team. i laughed my arse off watching the you deal with him.
perhaps you could rent time in s studio when no one else is in it to do some songwriting work?

Great video, Steve! Thanks a lot for answering my questions — I really appreciate you taking the time to do so. As you said, major bummer, but I really do hope to hear some new stuff in the future. Your music is always excellent!

Hooray for another installment of the Steve & Chalupa Show. Very informative. I’ve been wondering about Planchette myself and I certainly do hope that you’ll be able to dive into singing and song-writing again sometime in the future. The world of music is suffering a serious loss without you, Steve. Let it be known.

Aww… This was very real. I mean, all the video’s are, but the writing and singing part. That was really great of you to share that with us.
Hahahah! I LOVE, love, love the Chalupa! That was too funny. I had to play that part like 4 times. Freaking great!
And yes, umm, answering the phone in the tub when Dave is calling was absolute gayness. I bet Dave liked it!

*slowly w/ trepidation she raises her arm to answer the ques. at hand*…Um…Steve? That whole ‘Velvet Revolver’ thing? Mmmm…that was me who started it. Back last Apr.(1st Sat.), Matt called Camp Freddy Radio to say what REALLY happened w/ Scott leaving the band. He asked if anyone had suggestions for a replacement. NO ONE called all night, so I finally did w/ a list & yes, you were on it. So was Gilby Clarke, B.Morrison, James Michael, & others. When I got to your name, Dave ’s reaction surprised me. “Good luck w/ that one. I guess if they throw enough money his way, he’ll do it.” Making it sound as though you couldn’t care less about performing. Kind of ticked me off.
Speaking of performing, if you really want to find that ‘quiet place’ you will. Suggestion? Do you know of anyone who has a place on Long Is. or outside of NY city? Would a place near you help if you had some of those noise-blocking earplugs(to write at least)? Um..or do you HAVE to have the guitar in order to write?
Please don’t take this the wrong way but…you said that since you moved to NY the noise interferes w/ the musical creativity. Possible self-sabatoge? I know when Panic dissolved you may have been discouraged by the whole music industry. Don’t blame you. I think there were people present at that time who were a little too negative.
Would you ever consider going back to Broadway. LOVED you in Tommy. Yes, I know you were in the touring Co. and NOT actually on Broadway. Still…
Did you abandon Facebk.?
Sorry for the many ques. & the ‘war & peace’ length. Thanx for reading this if you do. I hope you do come back to music. If you ever think you have no support, there’s 2 chickies here in Philly who do(My sister & I ). Oh…um…we need 2 tix to Mahsapakistan, please! I hope I got that name right. Take care. CAM

Chalupa! Chalupa! lol. so cute.
I’m really sad about the writing/singing/playing. I’m happy that you aren’t able to find too much solitude, but your musical gift is very magical. I was hooked after one show….it was the voice and then after becoming more familiar, the songs.
Well, I’m happy that you share your techno-geek-dom. That is really an amazing plus in conjunction with the musical talent. I wish I could find more tech-savvy people that have the passion that you seem too.
Cheers! until the next SvLog!

Yes, watching you in the bathtub is, perhaps, the gayest thing I’ve ever seen. Nope, wait, I did watch a Bisexual porno once. So you in the bathtub, is the second gayest thing. Keep it up! Totaly cool!

Hey Steve,
it breaks my heart to hear you talk ahout how you don´t have the room/the time/the space to write songs. I can relate to that a lot since I´m in a similar situation… I really, really hope you soon find a way to make music again (BTW: I loved the TPC record).

Alright, I feel like a weird stalker person. It’s ridiculous how much I love this video. And not because you’re in the tub! Chalupa’s appearance… Seriously… Funniest shit ever!

Chalupa is adorable. soo cute and yet so funny. Your reaction to Chalupa was cute. How ironic was that when you were talking about the Panic Channel that Dave calls right then.

LOL that was great…..Cute cat!

Ok, I’m watching this again. Is this the most commented video so far? If so, let’s blame hot tube chalupa combination and do it always, shall we Steve? *-*
