Couldn’t agree with you more on what you said about Bush’s second election and the feelings around Obama’s inauguration.

I was at school during the inauguration and most instructors either had the inauguration playing in their classroom or let their classes go to watch the inauguration in another classroom or student lounge. After he was sworn in, this HUGE cheer went up. I got all teary-eyed, as did several other people.

Now I’d like to take a special moment to say: HOLY CRAP, MELISSA!! I’d never heard you sing before this. AMAZING.
